Générations.Bio (Belgium)

The Foundation operates in rural areas, but it benefits from the proximity to Brussels. It is recognized as a public utility. It is based on the activity of the farm “La ferme bio du Petit Sart” with a family dimension, as recommended by the FAO to guarantee healthy and quality food. It is registered as an agricultural production unit benefiting from the organic farming approval by a belgian certification body.

It aims to contribute to the transition to a more ecological and humane society in order to guarantee a sustainable future. It acts through promotion, education – including lifelong learning – and support for organic and family farming by ensuring that farmers receive a fair wage, providing the population with healthy organic products and supporting the rural environment.
