EU Conference – 21st September 2021

September 7th, 2021|0 Comments

“Childhood is the ground we walk on all our lives” (Lya Luft) How can we awaken our 10-14 year olds to permaculture? By creating collective vegetable gardens in our schools! Encourage our young people to live outside in direct (re)connection with nature: to observe the life of the soil, to learn, to cultivate, to cook, to eat to the rhythm of the 4 seasons in an educational vegetable garden. Extend their discoveries during science, technology, engineering and mathematics classes, not forgetting language, history and geography classes. Integrate the outdoor school into the general education of our children. We invite you to attend the #livingSTEM European conference on Tuesday 21 September 2021, from 9 am to 1 pm (CET) The event will take place at the Ferme bio du Petit Sart in Grez-Doiceau (Belgium) and also be live streamed. Presentations will be made in French and English. Sign up for the event here: During this event Géné and its 6 partners ed-Consult - Denmark, EDU-Lab - Italy, Polish Farm Advisory - Poland, Citizens in Power - Cyprus, Transit Projects - Spain and Logopsycom - Belgium invite you to discover the 60 free #LivingSTEM educational activities and tools.
